Are we living lives we can love?
What would it be like to give ourselves our undivided attention? |
This retreat is an opportunity to think about what really matters --- in extraordinary, non-habitual ways. It is a chance to step back from the endless details of our daily lives and perceive the whole picture. It is this perspective that yields a deeper understanding of who we are and why we are alive. The premise of this retreat is that each of us has the wisdom to respond to the most challenging situations we face. We need to do more than just seek answers; we need a nurturing and evocative environment to connect with the wisdom we all possess. If we think the way we’ve always thought, we’ll get the results we’ve always gotten.
Using storytelling, art, movement, silence and journaling, each woman will explore --- through an interplay of personal and interpersonal work --- the questions that speak to her. Questions such as: |
~
What are the courageous conversations you need to have with yourself and
others? |
| ~ |
What do you need to shed from your life that is no longer alive? |
| ~ |
How can love grow from the places that have been wounded in you? |
| ~ |
What would have to happen to ensure that your life really sustained you? |
| ~ |
What have you been given that you can give to others? |
| ~ |
How can you live divided no more? |
This retreat is intended for women of all ages and backgrounds who are interested in expanding the ways in which they shape and expand their lives to nurture themselves while making a contribution to the world. |
