A Weekend Retreat with Patricia Lynn Reilly
October 26 - 28, 2007
Hosted at Las Posadas de Sedona |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Imagine a
woman in love with her own body.
A woman who believes her body is enough, just as it is.
Who celebrates its rhythms and cycles as an exquisite
resource. |
|
|
|
Imagine a
woman who honors the body of the Goddess in her changing
body.
A woman who celebrates the accumulation of her years and
wisdom.
Who refuses to use her precious life-energy disguising
the changes in her body and life. |
|
|
|
Imagine a
woman who embodies her spirituality.
A woman who honors her body as the sacred temple of the
spirit of life.
Who breathes deeply as a prayer of gratitude for life
itself. |
|
|
|
Imagine a
woman who loves her body
through the seasons of life...Regardless!
Imagine yourself as this woman at A Woman's Way Retreat. |
|
|
|
When our motivations to be
"fit" are the culture's images of beauty and our own
critical self-scrutiny, we are unable to sustain health
and fitness because the image is unreachable. We will
never be perfect enough, pretty enough, or fit enough. We
will never be able to arrest the shifts and changes that
accompany the organic process of aging. On the other hand,
when we react to the culture's images of beauty and
"fitness" by refusing to take care of ourselves, we hurt
our bodies and jeopardize our health.
The Loving Your Body retreat
offers you woman-affirming alternatives to both of these
self-defeating responses. It fleshes out an essence- and
purpose-based perspective from which to choose, and
sustain, body, mind, and spirit fitness. The retreat will
immerse you in healthy new intentions, provide you with
support resources, and a refreshing vocabulary of
reverence. It offers strong, daily support to practice and
personalize your new tools, to design and sustain your own
healthy lifestyle, and to love your body throughout the
seasons of your life....regardless!
Our planet is in
desperate need of women who love themselves. Women who use
their time, energy, and resources to design life-affirming
solutions for the challenges confronting humankind. Women
who give birth to images of inclusion, poems of truth,
rituals of healing, experiences of transformation,
relationships of equality, strategies of peace,
institutions of justice, and households of compassion.
Women full of themselves for the sake of their children
and children's children. Join Patricia and other
extraordinary women for a weekend that will forever change
how you view your body. |

Each of Patricia's books whispers an invitation to
women of all ages: "Return home to yourself, reclaiming your
natural resources and capacities. Grow in knowledge and love
of yourself, vowing faithfulness to your own deepest truth
and wisdom. Author your own life, participating fully in its
gifts and challenges. Remain loyal to yourself. Regardless."
