A Weekend Retreat with Sue Bender
August 24 - 26, 2007
Hosted at
L'Auberge de Sedona |

"It
takes courage to know who we are and what we want." ~ Sue
Bender |
|
|
|
Sue Bender, a much sought
after facilitator, will explore how quieting the harsh
inner critic, honoring yourself as you are, and
approaching each day with "fresh eyes" can allow for
extraordinary things to come your way.
Her lessons are modest,
manageable and doable in the midst of today's time starved
world. Step by step they add up and make a "big"
difference in one's life. Speaking simply and from the
heart, she will share lessons learned -- revealing how
each step along life's journey can be a miraculous
opportunity to learn.
The image of an empty
begging bowl, a metaphor for ourselves, will guide us.
Exploring what we need and want in our bowl for the
nourishment in our lives, we will discover that we can
seek the sacred everywhere-- in our homes, in our daily
activities and, hardest to see, in ourselves. |

|
"Within each of us there is a daring spirit
that whispers to be heard." ~ Sue Bender |
|
|
|
This retreat will explore
what our spirit hungers for, the obstacles we place in our
own way and how we can grow in ways we hadn’t thought
possible. By listening to the wisdom of the body, we can
discover a deeper connection to ourselves – and the things
that matter most in life.
Together we can dare to be as
big as we really are. |
