Join author, entrepreneur and late-in-life adventurer, Karen
Ely, for two days of personal discovery, of learning how to
turn one of life's most challenging transitions – divorce –
into a life-changing opportunity.
Karen believes that locked in the pain and chaos of divorce
lays the opportunity for profound, even magical, personal growth,
where we can rediscover and rekindle the hopes and dreams of
the young women we once were. And that it is possible to
make room for a new way of being, one that's firmly based in
our authentic selves, one filled with the joy and passion
that comes from living who we really are after a lifetime of
being everything to everybody.
Daring
to Dream: Reflections on the Year I Found Myself is
Karen's personal story of rebirth following the end of her
32-year marriage, of coming to grips with a life that she
could no longer live and walking toward a self that she no
longer knew. And eventually discovering that she had the
strength, power and wisdom to grow from life's challenges.
Throughout the weekend, Karen will share her personal story
and the tools that supported her on a magical journey back
to herself.
Through large and small group exercises, quiet, music,
joyful playing, and journaling, Karen will guide
participants through an exploration back to themselves. The
two-day workshop will conclude with a commitment ceremony
where, instead of writing vows to another person, this time
women will write promises to themselves. Come with an open
mind; leave with new friends, renewed vitality and a belief
that you already are the woman you've been striving to
become. |
