If you’re overwhelmed, burned out, exhausted, or out of
touch with your self, then A Walk in the Woods is the
perfect retreat for you. Join experienced facilitator, Karen
Ely, and other phenomenal women for a quiet exploration back
to yourself, surrounded by the tranquility of the
Appalachian Trail.
While there will be ample time for exploring the Trail, the
focus of the retreat will be on using this outward journey
to access your inner self. From the moment you check into to
the charming 18th century Breadloaf Mountain Lodge (www.breadloafmountainlodge.com)
on Friday evening, until you pack to leave on Sunday
afternoon, you will use journaling, meditation, and special
exercises to move you back into your old life in a new, more
authentic way.
In this weekend retreat, you will learn practical ways to
manage your mind and open your heart in a safe and supported
environment. Through the beauty of music, quiet, laughter,
tears, ceremony and the cathedral-like setting of the
Appalachian Trail, you will find balance, find and rekindle
lost dreams and leave inspired with a new vision for your
future. |
