A Women's Retreat with Karen Ely
June 19 - 25, 2011
Amidst the beautiful vineyards and olive groves of
Tuscany, Italy |

Tuscany is truly an enchanting land . . . vineyards, gently
rolling hills, sandy roads leading to rust-colored
farmhouses, moss-coated castles, rounded hilltops dotted
with picturesque towns.
Every inch of Tuscan land has been sculpted, first by the
elements and then by generations of inhabitants whose goal
was always to make the land as beautiful as possible. |
| |

Join us for a special retreat in a very special place, where
the road less traveled waits patiently for you to find your
own secret treasure, under the Tuscan sun.
Experience the unique opportunity of stepping back from your
day-to-day busyness and returning to the simplicity of
country life, Tuscan style. You will be lodged on 400 acres
of some of the most stunning property in Tuscany, the second
largest privately owned estate in the region. We will be
staying in beautiful 2-bedroom villas overlooking the
Mediterranean. Surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, private
gardens, fine wine and Tuscan cuisine, you will slowly begin
to listen to the beat of your own heart and begin to forge a
quiet path back to your self. |
| |
From
the moment you arrive at the retreat on Sunday evening until
you pack to leave the following Saturday morning,
experienced facilitator, Karen Ely, will lead you on a quiet
exploration back to the person you were born to be. You will
walk quietly in nature, sit joyfully in circle, journal and
meditate, explore long lost pieces of your self, stroll
through charming Tuscan towns, walk along the Mediterranean,
and gather each evening to celebrate the beauty of our
community of women.
Days will have a delightful cadence of small and large group
meetings, time alone, and afternoons for biking or walking
the estate's endless trails, horseback riding, napping,
sketching, writing, and group excursions to neighboring
villages for our evening meals.
In today's hectic time-starved world it becomes even more
important to find time for quiet renewal, time to step back
and assess who you are and where you're going. Join us on
this amazing personal and cultural journey, one that has the
capacity to give you back to you.
